Yes, it is possible.
ACTY'S can support flexible changes of plans in various ways as follows.
- To change the schedule of a task, you can easily move the date by dragging and dropping the Bar.
- To change the duration of a task, you can easily extend or shorten the duration by dragging the handle on both sides of the Bar.
- By setting up Constraints (relationships and restrictions between Tasks) that defines the execution order for each Task, when you move a schedule of Task with the mouse, the Tasks scheduled to be performed after it will be moved in conjunction, while maintaining their intervals.
When moving or changing duration for an activity, the holiday settings in a calendar is also reflected, so there is no need to adjust it manually to take the working days into account.
What is Constraint?
It represents the execution order for Tasks and their dependencies (such as activity B can be started when activity A is finished, or activity B can be started when activity A is started, etc.). In ACTY'S, it is expressed as an arrow connecting Bars.
You can also use "Time Analysis" function for automatic rescheduling.
